Our mountain house was completed in October of 2000. We inherited a few acres from a family member and it had always been our dream to have a home in the mountains. It is a simple home on six acres nestled in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. The valley where the house is located is filled by the sound of Sugar Creek which runs along the base of the property. The house is a simple two bedroom, two bath, with a large front porch, full kitchen, pantry, washer and dryer, den and dinning area. Part of the charm is how remote the home is from the nearby towns, however once in town you are near Cherokee, Gatlinburg, Asheville, and Maggie Valley where snow skiing is availiable in the winter months.
